The GCC Voter Guide is Here!

Who are you voting FOR?

Greater Cleveland Congregations has released its 2026 General Election Voter Guide. Cuyahoga County votes on Tuesday, November 3, and the guide is built to help voters get ready.

This year’s guide asks one question: Who are you really voting for? Your family? Your friends? What motivates YOU to vote?

What’s inside the Voter Guide?

The guide opens with a letter from Rev. Dr. J.T. Thomas, Senior Pastor of Affinity Missionary Baptist Church, titled “Justice is truly justice for all.” He writes that an accusation is not a conviction and that poverty is not a crime. He asks voters to study every race, to question judicial candidates about how they will use their authority, and to stay involved after Election Day. His message comes down to this: freedom should not be for sale, and poverty should not be punished.

The guide also lists everything on the November ballot, from county races and issues to state and federal offices. It highlights two GCC focus items:

  • Issue 11, Health and Human Services. GCC recommends a YES vote on this levy. It funds services for seniors, children, people facing addiction and mental health challenges, and others in need.
  • Court of Common Pleas, General Division. These are the judicial races covered in the candidate questionnaire.

Greater Cleveland Congregations is non-partisan and does not support or oppose any candidates for public office.
